Advocacy is at the heart of my work, driven by my passion, experience, and expertise.
I advocate for the empowerment of individuals in mid life, late life and end of life, and for their caring families and friends. I advocate for rekindling an honored and humane tradition—nurturing our elders and tapping into their life experience. I advocate for the importance and sanctity of life. I invite you to explore my website to discover advocacy in action, whether you consider partnering with me in Consultation, Medical Advocacy, Innovations, or End of Life.
As you no doubt know, health care for the aging in America has many layers. I have studied and experienced the strata of senior care—hospitalization, post-op care, rehabilitation, relocation, home safety, and senior living—and I am prepared to build a bridge to help you understand and navigate these complexities. I will help steer the course for you to journey from rudimentary health care to a higher level of wellbeing.
Changes in an aging person’s health, mobility, strength, and cognition need not signify the end of his or her value to families and friends, or his or her benefit to society. Together—with physicians, nurses, hospice and social workers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, grandchildren, and friends—we can enhance the layers of practical care, identify priorities, set goals, devise strategies, target resources, and create opportunities to empower the experience and expression of aging.
