“There were many deep-seated hurts or misunderstandings with my mother from growing up. After my mom started working with Corby it felt like a miracle took place. My mom wanted to talk with me and communicate when before our conversation felt frozen like speaking with a brick wall. Our new communication was life changing and transformative. My mother and I finally understood each other. I also observed my mom change and grow for the positive even though she was in such a difficult situation with her stroke, breast cancer and having to be in assisted living . My mom was smiling, playful and enjoying her life. Corby had my mom share her life story (biography) on audio tape. My mom lit up sharing the information, smiling, laughing and feeling really good about herself. What a treasure the audio tapes are for current and future generations to come. “Corby was an incredible advocate and worked endlessly to help our parents have the highest quality of life during their last years.
